Tommy’s 7 month Sitter Session

I had the absolute privilege or photographing sweet Tommy’s newborn photos 7 months ago and I was so incredibly excited to see him again for his 7 month sitter baby milestone photo session in my Indianapolis Indiana studio! Tommy is a very unique baby boy. His journey started 4 years before he was even born when he was frozen as an embryo. So now at the age of 7 months he has been around for 4 years and 7 months.

Tommy is the happiest little boy with a ready smile and big blue eyes! We planned his set in cream and blue to enhance that sweet feature. He loved playing peekaboo with a blanket and nursing in his mommy’s arms for pictures.

His mama hand picked some special outfits for his photos and I pulled a few from my exclusive client closet.

I can’t wait to watch him and his sister continue to grow! Looking forward to capturing all of his future milestones!

Rize Newborn Photos

I got to meet the sweetest honeymoon baby last week! Doesn’t he just look like he was made of pure love? I was so excited to plan Rize’s newborn photos. His nursery theme is boho and I went crazy with creams and blues to accent his nursery. He did so great for his newborn pictures. He slept and snuggled his way through all of his setups.
His mama and I have a lot in common. We love having our kids close in age and plan to homeschool them so that we can spend a lot of time with our kiddos as they grow.
My newborn photo studio in Carmel Indiana is fully prepped with everything you could need for your sessions. Most of my parents literally just bring their baby and a bottle if they are formula fed.
Rize’s mama brought him a pacifier that matched his set so perfectly I just had to take a picture of him with his pacifier in. It is easily one of my favorite shots too.

Collette Haire Newborn Photos

I wrapped this sweet 13 day old baby up nice and snug and put a little stuffed rabbit in her arms and her mama burst out laughing since their last name is Haire! This sweet baby girl did amazing for her newborn photo session! They lived super close to my newborn photo studio in Carmel Indiana and she slept like a dream. Her mama and I agreed that there’s absolutely nothing sweeter than a baby in a bucket and we’re committed to putting her in a bucket for pictures as often as possible till she’s too big to fit! Collete’s favorite picture pose however were the ones snuggling in her parents arms. She curled up so tiny in between her beaming parents. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with some absolutely incredible photographers. Photography is an ever evolving and changing industry. There is nothing more enriching than learning along side of some incredible photographs. I regularly share my work and gain inspiration from my fellow newborn and baby photographers. I have also invested a lot in mentoring over the years as I learned my craft.

One of my favorite photographers is Janel Sealander with Janel Sealander Photography. Janel is continually pushing the boundaries of creative limits and taking her passion to soaring heights! From under water maternity fine art photos, to classic white cake smashes, to newborns, lifestyle family sessions, weddings and taking to the sky with her ever present drone her art knows know limits. It has been a real pleasure getting to know her as a master of her craft and dear friend.

Kennedy’s Newborn Photo Session

Kennedy, oh sweet Kennedy, your newborn session inspired and challenged me in so many ways. Your mama requested all neutrals, white and cream for your newborn photos and I went totally blank. But I knew that your newborn photos just had to be special. So I ransacked my studio in Carmel Indiana, chopped up some fabric and sewed a little romper and bonnet just for you.
You were such a little angel to work with. You are the biggest baby girl I have ever had the privilege of photographing and you slept through every sleepy curly pose I asked you to do. From being all swaddled, to tucked in and curled up you rocked every photo.

I found a little lama while I was out shopping and just knew you had to snuggle it during your newborn session. Low and behold your mama brought you in and you already had a lama pacifier in your hands. Could not have been more sweet!

Gabby’s Newborn Photos

Sweet Gabrielle is already 9 weeks old! I will never turn away a baby for newborn photos regardless of age. Each newborn week has so many sweet and unique moments in it. Gabby rocked her newborn photos and slept through multiple poses. Gabrielle’s mommy and daddy and I have been friends for many years. I got to capture this sweet girls big moments from their pregnancy announcement, maternity pictures, newborn pictures right after birth and again for her 2 month newborn photos. She came in to my studio in Carmel Indiana with a full belly ready to rock out her newborn poses. She enjoyed being swaddled and fell right to sleep, though her mama swears she doesn’t usually like the swaddle. It was so sweet seeing this baby girl again! My very favorite part of photography is watching my littlest clients grow and grow!

3 years ago I had my very first anniversary photo session with Morgan’s sweet parents are her older brother Hunter. Fast-forward to last week and I had the pleasure of doing Morgan’s mini newborn photo session in my studio in Carmel Indiana.
Her session came complete with honors to her brothers newborn photos by incorporating his Turtle crotchet outfit that he never had the chance to use. We also incorporated stuffed animals and outfits that she was given at her baby shower.
At 3 weeks old Morgan slept the entire session and didn’t make a peep in 45 minutes. She loves being swaddled and cuddled. Her older brother has been doing his best to help out with her. He will feed her and rock her.
Morgan looks just like her daddy. I am looking forward to future sessions with her as she gets older! Take a look at her precious newborn photos below.

Carmel Indiana Newborn Photo Session – Harper’s Newborn Photos

Sweet Harper’s Newborn Photo Session was just a dream! Her mama picked cream and bright flowers for her Newborn Photos and Harper could not have been more precious! Her older siblings were so excited to join in her newborn photos. They cuddled her, held her gently, and brought her a pacifier every time she made a peep. They kissed her head while snuggling in front of the window too.
We took a short break during our session for Harper to nurse and Hallie, her older sister, got to have her own mini photo shoot!
I was particularly excited for this session for a lot of different reasons and one of those is that I got to try a new pose with mom. This sweet pose picture below has mama snuggling her newborn baby up close to her cheek while her newborn sleeps. It is just the sweetest shot. We did a variation where dad jumped in too.

Prior to my newborn photography sessions in my Carmel Indiana Studio barn I always have all of my setups lined up so we can move seamlessly from one to the next. After parent poses this sweet baby girl got to sleep with some wild sunflowers. She was thoroughly unimpressed so we moved on quickly after getting the shot.

From there I rewrapped Harper for coral flower shots and snuggly coral fur shot. All in all Harper was an amazing sweet little model who gave me all the baby fever! I can’t wait to see her for her three month, six month and nine month milestone photo sessions.

Adalynn’s Newborn Photos

One of my favorite parts of newborn photography is getting to know people, and watching their sweet newborn babies grow. Tiffany reached out to me this past fall to do her newborn photos for their sweet rainbow baby. Adalynn’s big sister was so incredibly excited to have a baby of her own!

Tiffany had something extra special prepared for Adalynn’s newborn photos. She brought the cutest little outfits to my Carmel Indiana studio barn. One of them was purple with her name on it and a little name sign for her nursery. Her big sister even wore a big sister shirt too!

Throughout her newborn session Adalynn had just the cutest little smiles and expressions. She rocked her pink and purple session and didn’t make a peep the whole time!
